Computer Network Support Position

REQUIREMENTS (updated 10/04/2009):
- A+, Network+, MCSE, MCP Certification or other equivalent industry recognized
certification.
- Must be able to secure Child Abuse Clearance and pass Criminal Background to
work at K-12 education facilities.
- Job will primarily entail providing Network and Workstation Level
Administration and Support at our client's facility. Must be able to work both
independently and on a team. Must be able to arrive on schedule and communicate
to supervisors and clients to keep relevant parties informed and maintain good
customer service.
- Candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair PCs in accordance with the
CompTIA A+ Certification, and/or other industry certification and "best
practices" guidelines.
- Experience with hard drive imaging, desktop virtualization, and software
rollouts a plus.
- Must also provide help desk, phone and remote access support.
- Provide technology training and demonstrations to non-technical staff.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, technical and
non-technical staff, and submit required reports timely via online, e-mail and
fax per company procedures.
- Must be able to communicate with major manufacture's Tech Support and Warranty
Departments to facilitate service and support for client.
- Must be willing to travel in Philadelphia via personal auto or SEPTA to visit
client to provide on-site support. Mileage reimbursement and/or SEPTA subsidy
available for minimum 20 Hr. /week schedule.
- Must be willing to receive additional Technical and Professional Development
Training.
- Five (5) Years Work Experience Required, however only a minimum of two (2)
must be IT related, preferably within last 12 months.
HOURS: Thirty (30)+ hours per week (Additional work may be available outside
standard thirty hour schedule). Position can expand into full-time based on
successful performance in JCWCC service
system.
